Numbers are useful in some circumstances, but from the perspective of Brian LaBone, they shouldn’t be used to pigeonhole customers into one-size-fits-all service. Instead, LaBone, an employee at InfoQuest Technologies, Inc., believes each client brings to the table individualized needs and therefore deserves personalized solutions.
“We’re the ‘third person’ for many small businesses,” LaBone explains. “With InfoQuest in that position, we owe it to our customers to provide expertise and value. Consequently, we keep up with changes in technology for them so they can focus on other priorities.”
To provide consistent, top-notch assistance, LaBone draws heavily from his 20 years in the industry where he learned in dynamic, hands-on environments. He has worked with InfoQuest for the past decade and values the long-term relationships he’s developed with customers from the United States and around the world. States LaBone, “It’s our sincere focus to create lasting partnerships that sets InfoQuest apart. In fact, I’ve gotten to know some clients so well that I’ve formed friendships.”
Though LaBone might not always be the first person to answer InfoQuest’s 24-hour help desk, he tries to make himself as available as possible to assist clients with everything from basic to complex services.
As LaBone says, “I like to really answer the customers’ questions, especially when they’re highly technical and beyond the client’s scope of knowledge. It’s great that customers can confidently tap into InfoQuest’s expertise to solve their issues efficiently… and affordably.”
Not surprisingly, every day presents unique challenges for LaBone and the other members of the InfoQuest team. From customer support to internal responsibilities, he and his colleagues wear many hats… and LaBone wouldn’t have it any other way. “I’m one of those rare people who has only held three jobs since I graduated from school. I’m fortunate to be able to share my talents in a field where rarely any day is the same as the previous one.”
When he’s not setting up a customer’s new storefront or database or performing maintenance on the dozens of secured servers InfoQuest maintains, LaBone enjoys dabbling in computers and computer-related technology, always intent on keeping up-to-speed on the exponential changes taking place from year to year. As he notes, “You have to keep learning.” He also enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, riding bikes and, most recently, playing the Wii.
