Ring...ring…well that's if we still do phones. More like tweet, but in this case the tweeting died right along with my neighbors PC. I always wonder as I'm walking down to his house...what website could he possibly have visited that resulted in the fake spyware attack (that he clicked on) that now inhabits his computer like a nasty roach infestation. Of course I really don't want to know that much about him so I don't ask.

The temptation to avoid social networking seems to have a following even within InfoQuest. When I recently announced to everyone that InfoQuest would be maintaining a presence on Twitter through at www.twitter.com/infoquestdotcom, I received several reactions.

Dear Coke:  I love you.  You are an incredible product.  You are the Babe Ruth of soft drinks, the proprietor of the word "cola" and, most of all, the brand of all brands.  Your brand is not just bulletproof, it;'s indestructible --even from self inflicted damage.

Don't turn around.  Please remain calm.  I don't want to alarm you, but just out of your direct line of sight are countless marketers who want something from you.  And it's not what you think.  sure they want your money, but now they also want to have a "relationship" with you.

On Nov, 21, amid the hoopla over Detroit's CEOs using corporate jets, ABC News reported that General Motors leased seven jets at the beginning of 2008, dropped two in September and will drop two more at the end of the year.  Now I guess they'll all be gone.  Believe me, I'm not against CEOs using corporate jets, but isn't seven a little excessive for a company that's circling the drain?  It's not like business was really great back in January.  apparently they thought GM was still America's premier manufacturer when, in fact, GM has been on the road to bankruptcy for years.
